OPEC sees global oil demand rising in July–December

MOSCOW, Aug 8 (PRIME) -- Oil demand will grow worldwide in July–December, Qatar’s Energy Minister Mohammed Saleh Al Sada said in a statement published by OPEC on Monday.

“Higher oil demand is expected in the third and fourth quarters,” Al Sada said.

The official said that the economies of key oil consumers are expected to grow, which will trigger higher demand.

The availability of oil will decrease, which gives many reasons to hope that oil prices will recover in the period.
